Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Looking for a supportive and flexible work environment as a full-time or part-time Outpatient Mental Health Therapist? Consider joining our team at Strategic Counseling, LLC! In this position, you will meet with each client, make an assessment of their Mental Health, and devise a course of treatment. Treatment planning and execution is your chief priority. Our perfect candidate is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed social worker (LSW), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or licensed psychologist with at least a master's degree in psychology or behavior analysis.  Any experience you have in a specific discipline, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or EMDR therapy, is beneficial.

Outpatient Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet with new clients for assessment
• Plan a course of treatment
• Regularly meet with clients for therapy sessions
• Refer clients to additional specialists
• Update their treatment as necessary
• Weekly or monthly supervision as determined by the practice manager

Outpatient Therapist Requirements and Qualifications

• A master's degree or doctorate in psychology
• Licensed psychologist
• LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or LPC credentials
• Strong communication skills
• Clinical experience
