SUPERVISOR: Aquatics Manager
EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience providing guest service preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to follow direction and work your schedule.
SUMMARY: Responsible for providing excellent guest service in all operations of the Aquatic Center. Operations include: admissions, concessions, special events, guest service, slide dispatch, custodial, and safety.
HOURS: Vary on daily basis. (Weather permitting)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.) Demonstrate the ability to provide excellent guest service.
2.) Ability to remain calm and in control under fast paced working conditions.
3.) Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance.
4.) Enforce facility and pool deck rules and regulations as indicated in manuals or any additional rules that may be instituted from the Coordinator on duty.
5.) Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas throughout the Aquatic Center.
6.) Maintain clean and organized guest areas throughout the Aquatic Center.
7.) Ensure efficient and friendly service to meet the expectations of the guests.
8.) Meet and greet every guest with a smile and assist them as needed.
9.) Set-up and break-down all equipment and guests areas.
10.) Assisting in Aquatic Center special events.
11.) Maintain proper cash control procedures.
12.) Handle all incoming phone calls and provide accurate information.
13.) Ensure that F&B stock is properly maintained at each station and recorded on the Daily Inventory List (DIL).
14.) Maintain all Illinois Health Department sanitation regulations and policies.
15.) Performs the job safely and in compliance with Park District policies, procedures, work and safety rules.
16.) Supports & exhibits the established organizational values of respect, communication, integrity, innovation, recognition, continuous learning, fun, empowerment and people.
17.) Work as scheduled.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
1.) Attending additional in-service staff training for reviewing operating procedures, changes, and guest relations.
2.) Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
