Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Acquisition Support Analyst to join our team.  You will provide full-time on-site dedicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Space Systems (MDA/SS), located at Schriever SFB, CO (Missile Defense Integration Operations Center (MDIOC).

You will be supporting several innovative, highly technical, and fast-paced space sensor developmental programs including the Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) and Spacebased Kill Assessment (SKA).  These critical programs will procure, test, and deliver national space assets to the warfighting Combatant Commands.

Specific Skills Required:   

• Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;
• Experience with developing Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists

• Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration;
• Support the development of acquisition implementing/operating instructions, directives, plans and policies;
• Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
• Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
• Prepare MDS acquisition documentation and executive-level decision papers
• Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)
• Prepare and staff Directorate of Acquisitions actions for functional and technical review and comment;  perform internal and external Agency coordination and reporting
• Demonstrated capability to develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
• Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD system
• Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines;
• Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
• Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential;
• Demonstrated ability to organize and execute meeting logistics and represent the Directorate at higher-level meetings as required
• Ability to track, coordinate, and manage information requests from both internal and external agencies

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10-15 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 7-10 years of experience in Program Integration, Acquisition, Budget, or Program Management; Prefer experience at MDA, OGA, or Department of Defense (DoD)

• Experience with Other Transactions Authority contract mechanisms
• Experience in one or more program offices highly desirable;  Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Current Secret Security Clearance Required and eligible for TS/SCI
