Outdoor Adventure Guide

Talking Rock Club is seeking a full-time Outdoor Adventure Guide to add to our team. The role of Outdoor Adventure Guide is to provide and lead guests on recreational expeditions including but not limited to hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and rock climbing. The right candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge of Arizona and the surrounding states as well as permitting for different outdoor activities. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, organize and lead outdoor excursions independently for a maximum of 8 attendees
-Maintain a high level of attention to detail
-Maintain rentals in The Talking Rock Outfitters Store (kayaks, paddle Boards, phat scooters, electric bikes)
-Provide Transportation to and from several guiding locations
-Check members in and make sure any waivers have been completed
-Communicate with the food & beverage team appropriately on packed lunches
-Organize and set up luxury Picnics for members and guests
-Develop new outdoor excursions and adventures for members and guests

Minimum Qualifications:

-Able to talk to and entertain people from all walks of life with a professional attitude and appearance
-Previous luxury hiking or high-end guiding experience
-Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
-Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
-Valid State Driver’s License with two years of driving experience
-Clean Driving Record
-Extensive knowledge of Arizona and basic knowledge of surrounding states
-Ability to drive an 8-Passenger sprinter van on mountain roads

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
