Otr Box Truck Driver

Halo Transports LLC is seeking to add a driver to our team. We are Veteran owned company. The ownership team served over 20 years together in the VA National Guard. Together, Halo Transports ownership offers decades of Logistics, Human Resources, Training, and Operations experience. As a company we are dedicated to excellence and growth. We are searching for an individual who is willing to be a part of a team focused on growth and stability. The ideal candidate will have previous Box Truck OTR experience and willing to stay out two/three weeks at a time. Two weeks required, three weeks preferred.

Responsibilities:

• This is a Over the Road (OTR) position responsible for driving a 26-foot Box Truck interstate and intrastate for the purpose of delivering and/or picking up various types of freight.
• This requires using excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills and working in accordance with state and DOT regulations and company policies and standards.
• Able to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to load and unload cargo as required.
• Perform Pre/Post-Trip inspections and document.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Deliver freight within assigned route schedule.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years or older
• Able to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs.
• No CDL required
• Driving record will be evaluated during interview process
• Be able to Operate a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
• DOT physical required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic

Experience

· Truck driving or other related fields (preferred)

Salary: $800-$1,200 weekly on a 1099 pay structure.
