The Role

To ensure we can deliver exceptional services in OT/Network Security operations, we are now looking for an OT/Network Security Specialist within Central IT Operations Team.

 

This position reports to the Central IT Operations Manager.

 

Mission

The OT/Network Security specialist will strengthen the global operations & security in the Operational Technology environment.  You will be actively involved in the implementation of the network segmentation and MS Defender for IoT. This position includes but not limited to, system and service lifecycle management (including Plan, Design, Build and Release, Operate and Maintain).

Job Description:

  • Take part in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation activities concerning new IT and OT systems.
  • Supports development of Manufacturing Cybersecurity standards and baselines.
  • IT OT Cybersecurity Advisor during OT System planning phase.
  • Participates in IT OT Cybersecurity Design reviews.
  • Supports IT OT System Risk Assessment process.
  • Advises System Owners in selecting appropriate security measures to mitigate risk.
  • Supports the coordination process for IT OT Security Patch planning.
  • Coordination of IT OT services and activities delivered by Vendors.
  • Coordinates Major Moves, Add, changes and removals of OT devices.
  • Reviews Manufacturing Firewall Requests.
  • Performs the design and sustainment of OT Security Monitoring (IDS) at the Manufacturing Site.
  • Coordinate with Network Operations Team to Identify & Design new Vlans/segments.
  • Supports investigation after security incidents and develops suitable defense measures, evaluate system changes for security implications, and recommend enhancements.
  • Supports vulnerability management process in IT OT area.
  • Supports development of strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach in IT OT environment.
  • Technical support during the Incident Response process including steps to minimize the impact, conducting a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage.
  • Team up with the Manufacturing OT process Representative.

What we expect of you? 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Security and Network Security, with at least two years in information system design.
  • 3+ years of experience in another IT function, especially IT Auditing and Networking
  • 3+ years of experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks (e.g., IS027000, COBIT, NIST 800, etc.)
  • Experience in Firewall Management such as Checkpoint, other technologies is a plus
  • Advanced network knowledge: Routing, Switching and Subnetting (Vlans, 802.1q, L2/L3), industrial networking including significant low-level networking experience with the TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol). Experience with DNA center and SDA (Software Defined Access) is desired.
  • Deep understanding of Basic security principles: Defense in depth, trust domains, least privilege, network segmentation, security monitoring and incident response, access management, OT patch management, secure remote access, anti-malware protection etc.).
  • Solid knowledge on IT and OT infrastructure, including PLC security and protection is desired.
  • Current knowledge of technology capabilities and trends; types, and techniques of hacking attacks.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and influence others, as needed.
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • CISSP and/or CISM certification
  • Certification within ITIL (Foundation) is desirable.
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must; second language preferred.
