Oss Sme / Solution Designer

Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for a OSS SME / Solution Designer to join their business in Spain.

Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret and respond to detailed user stories/ business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future Digital capabilities and the strategic plan
  

• Architecting and designing software solutions related OSS solutions platforms.
  

• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment
  

• Define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives including technology solutions and changes to service, process and/or operating models
  

• Develop and implement technology solutions to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes
  

• Design and delivery projects from inception through functional analysis of user stories/requirements, the approval process for business case development, project execution and operational handover to align technological solutions and transform the processes and systems to meet emerging business requirements
  

• Collaborate with business units and technical experts to develop solutions that meet user stories/ business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability
  

• Resolving escalated support requests for existing environments
  

• Providing recommendations and best practices to the engineering teams
  

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related area or equivalent experience
  

• 15+ years of total software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years of architecture/system/Network design experience
  

• Must be Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  

• Experience working in telecom service providers is added advantage
  

• Demonstrable experience with implementing applications using RESTful APIs and microservices
  

• Proficient in Java, including open source frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot, and object-oriented design principles and patterns
  

• Experience with OSS Solution Architect for Fulfillment, Provisioning and Assurance Application.
  

• Experience with SQL and relational/NoSQL databases like MySQL, DynamoDB, Hbase, Redis, Oracle etc
  

• Sound knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Maven, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, SOAP/REST Web Services, message middleware such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc
  

• Experience designing or building OSS platforms would be desirable. Experience integrating with third party OSS platforms like Blue Planet, Oracle & Ericsson
  

• Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure like AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP
  

• Experience in Drives End-to-End Technical solutions, Scopes, defines and designs solutions, Transfers knowledge, Order Management, Inventory management, provision, Indecent Manage, Change Management, Process Improvement, Cost Optimization.
