Orthopedics Surgical Navigator

Community Memorial Hospital (Hamilton, NY) is searching for a Surgery Navigator for our Orthopedics Department!

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• OR chart preparation
• Must be able to multitask.
• Strong Computer Skills, Proficient with windows applications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in hospital registration/admitting required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical diagnostic procedures
• Knowledge in healthcare billing and authorizations experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.63 - $23.66 per year

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Surgical Scheduling: 1 year (Required)
