Overview:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeons to join our GROWING practice. As an Orthopedic Surgeon or Pain Management physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and disorders. The ideal candidate should have excellent surgical and procedural skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Consultation and Examination:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret imaging studies.
- Treatment Planning:
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on diagnosis, considering both surgical and non-surgical interventions.
- Educate patients about treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
- Surgical Procedures:
- Perform a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, fracture repair, and spinal surgeries.
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
- Postoperative Care:
- Provide postoperative care, monitoring patients' recovery progress.
- Prescribe medications, rehabilitation exercises, and physical therapy as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and anesthesiologists.
- Maintain clear and open communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and expectations.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient history, examinations, treatments, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Licensing and Certification:
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in performing a range of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic care.
- Skills:
- Excellent surgical skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Working Conditions:
Orthopedic Surgeons may work in hospitals, private practice, or specialized orthopedic clinics. The position may involve on-call duties and occasionally demanding work hours, particularly around surgery schedules and emergencies.
