We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant for our orthodontics practice. The Orthodontic Assistant performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. Responsibilities may include: assisting the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures such as: taking dental radiographs (x-rays), asking about the patient's medical history, serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental or orthodontic treatment, providing patients with instructions for oral care following treatment, procedures teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, taking impressions and scans of patients' teeth, and so much more! The right candidate must be self-motivated, possess excellent verbal and written skills, be people oriented, have the desire to grow with our company, and be comfortable interacting with pediatric and adult patients. A radiating, positive attitude is a must!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
