Team ENOUGH is a youth-led (ages 13-25) program of Brady, whose mission is to educate young voices about gun violence and mobilize them to take meaningful action against it. Supported by Brady, we harness the expertise and experience of today’s youth to advance our intersectional work across the country

Organizing ManagerPrograms Implementer, End Family Fire (EFF) and Combating Crime Guns Initiative (CCGI), (Brady and Team ENOUGH)

Job Summary:
The Organizing Department manages the grassroots advocacy and mobilization for Brady and Team ENOUGH activists and educates communities across the nation on Brady’s programs. We are seeking an accomplished and energetic Organizing ManagerPrograms Implementer to implement Brady’s End Family Fire (EFF) Program and the Combating Crime Guns Initiative (CCGI) furthering our goal of educating communities and tracking/measuring impact.

General Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Follow through with all constituencies on EFF advocacy and programmatic efforts, including assisting with amplifying EFF ads and programmatic work to more communities throughout the country, e.g., implementation in schools, workplaces, hospitals, and health agencies.
  • Collaborate with Programs teams to coordinate community events and initiatives that promote EFF and CCGI goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers and partners, ensuring that they are adequately trained and supported to implement CCGI strategies effectively, including procurement and tracing follow-through.
  • Collaborate closely with the EFF Team, Program Manager, and CCGI Team to align efforts and streamline initiatives.
  • Work under the Director of Organizing to support training and engagement efforts across departments.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure coordinated efforts and maximize impact.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of EFF and CCGI initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing strategies and tactics to enhance advocacy and mobilization efforts.
  • Prepare presentations, templates, and help to design tracking models and measures for KPIs metrics and tactics.
  • Assist in managing monday.com strategic plan tracking and road map, ensuring Organizing has met all commitments to drive Pillar #1 - Ensure Safe Storage of Firearms and Pillar #2 - Reform the Gun Industry forward and intersecting pillars around EFF and CCGI.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings and initiatives as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the Organizing Department and Brady's mission.

Skills and Experience
:
  • Minimum three years of experience, or equivalent education, in:
    • Working and/or organizing in impacted communities;
    • Developing communication strategies for diverse communities;
    • Tracking program metrics and measuring impact; and
    • Project management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree in public policy, public health, or a related field is a plus.Proven track record engaging communities, volunteer management, and demonstrating interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Special interest in fostering collective power across diverse communities for social, economic, and racial justice.
  • Strong understanding of issue advocacy strategies and tactics.
  • Positive and proactive team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to support Brady fieldwork.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in workflow management to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
