Job description

Organizational Development Strategist

The Opportunity:

Whether it’s process improvement, performance measurement, or business management analysis, organizational change management comes down to learning how an organization works and making it better. Although many companies know where they want to go, getting there can be a challenge. Thankfully, you’ll improve the systems that move entire organizations forward. It’s why we’re looking for an organizational transformation and change consultant like you who can help identify long-term goals and support the creation of the processes needed to achieve them.

This is your opportunity to use a human capital lens to examine client challenges and design strategies and plans to address them while minimizing risk to mission execution. You will create meaningful, well-written work products for clients that focus on the connection between their business or mission and people's goals. Regularly interface with clients to assess human capital needs throughout the employee lifecycle and the effectiveness of existing programs. You’ll leverage your consulting skills and expertise in multiple human capital disciplines, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, workforce and leadership development, and succession planning. Work with limited supervision when conducting analysis and drafting client-ready products while leveraging a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment to quickly develop, test, and refine concepts.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with strategic human capital, talent management, or workforce development activities, including recruiting or retention strategy development, competency modeling and assessment, leadership development, mentoring, succession planning, or workforce planning

  • Experience with strategic planning or organizational culture

  • Experience developing organizational-level strategies focused on future-facing goals using change management principles

  • Experience structuring and conducting data gathering and analysis activities, including interviews, focus groups, and surveys

  • Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative workforce data

  • Experience assessing client programs and processes, and identifying areas for improvement

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment

  • Ability to leverage communication and facilitation expertise to maintain and build partnerships with organizations to achieve strategic human capital objectives

  • Ability to provide non-sensitive work samples

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology preferred; Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology a plus

  • Human Capital Strategist or Change Management Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
