Job Description
Title: Project Manager (Organization Change Management)
We’re looking for a candidate local to the Minneapolis area. The candidate will be required to come into the office 2-3 days/week. The length of contract engagement is 6-12 months.
Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements:
• Proven ability to develop and implement Change Management strategy and plans for a complex project that crosses organizational entities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with executive level communication and interaction
• Self-motivated, demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate and influence
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, solve problems and adapt to change
• Ability to operate in a hybrid delivery model, incorporating agile, iterative and waterfall best practices
• Experience with Project Management methodologies (Waterfall/ Iterative, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban)
Essential Functions:
• Develop and execute Change Management plans
• Identify, evaluate and articulate the impact of the planned changes on people and processes
• Develop training plans; facilitate training sessions and prepare supporting training materials
• Identify risks and develop risk mitigation tactics
• Identify anticipated resistance to change
• Create and execute a communication plan that includes both internal and external project communication
Additional Functions:
• Support the project manager as needed to achieve optimal delivery (i.e.)
o Monitor and report project progress against plans
o Identify and monitor potential risks and issues, considers options and provides recommendations
o Schedule and facilitate project meetings
o Facilitate management reviews and signoffs
Education & Experience:
• Must have at least five years’ of Organizational Change Management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• PMP certification or other formal project management training desired
