Order Taker

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Order Taker. As an Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order processing for our customers. This position is well-suited for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service in the food industry. Duties: - Take customer orders over the phone or in person, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail - Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently - Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries regarding menu items - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation - Process payments using cash registers or other payment methods - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area - Assist with food preparation as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred - Familiarity with working in a restaurant or food industry environment is a plus - Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously - Basic math skills for calculating totals and making change accurately - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers effectively Note: This is a paid position, as we believe in fair compensation for all employees.
