Order Selector- Part time

SUMMARY
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the cooler, yard, trucks or work site by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads work orders/load sheets or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
Loads and unloads materials/products onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand
Loads materials/products into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting
Assist Transport Drivers with his/her warehouse duties
Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products
Loads trucks for scheduled routes using hand truck, pallet jack, or fork truck
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials/products moved or handled on daily production sheet
Check product date codes and rotate product
Log and verify proper operation of refrigerated equipment
Empty garbage cans and maintain recycle bins
Keep area clear of clutter and clean up spills
Other duties as assigned

18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in cold damp environment in cooler and freezer
Good written and oral communication skills
Good math skills
Ability to work under pressure
Must be responsible and reliable
