Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Role/Purpose:
The Order Processing Manager is responsible for leading the order entry and order management teams, whose responsibilities include all Order Processing activities from the point an order is received until the order is shipped. In addition, the Order Processing Manager is responsible for developing, training and on-boarding associates to create a high-performing team, and achieving productivity, quality, and compliance KPI's within the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, develop and train department staff to build a high-performing team.
- Provide guidance and direction to the order entry and order management teams to ensure customer orders are processed timely and efficiently.
- Establish and implement KPI's that track department productivity, quality and performance when processing new customer orders and change orders in the company's ERP and CRM systems.
- Play a key role in the implementation of SAP.
- Provide guidance and direction to the order entry and order management teams to resolve issues that may arise on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure all company standards are achieved, including export compliance.
- Participate in the company's Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for sales visibility and decision-making.
- Develop and implement new processes that enhance customer service and drive productivity.
What You Need to Succeed
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
- Must have a 4-year degree from an accredited college.
- Five to ten years supervisory experience with a demonstrated track record building, developing and coaching a high-performing team; a minimum of 3 year's experience managing sales order processes.
