SalarySpherion is looking for an Order Planning Assistant to work for a manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN!
This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
-$17-$22/HR based on experience
-7AM-4PM Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:
Complete a daily review of new sales orders, open back orders, and delivery
requirements to develop a needs list for production and work to develop a plan to meet those
needs efficiently
? Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
? Help assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
? Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
? Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
? Monitor output information (number of finished products and orders shipped)
? Prepare and submit status and performance reports
? Keep paperwork organized
? Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and shipping staff
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
-Effective Communicator
-Has worked in both an office setting and as a production planner in the past
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
?Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
? Good at math and statistics skills are very helpful
? Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
? Excellent communication abilities
? Ability to analyze data and produce reports for company management.
