Order Picker

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Specialist to join our team at our distribution center. As a Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and fulfillment processes. This is a physically demanding position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Package and prepare orders for shipment
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate materials handling equipment such a Hi/Low Forklift
- Ensure accurate stock rotation and maintain inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move and organize products
- Utilize warehouse management system to track and locate items within the distribution center

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Proficient in operating materials handling equipment such as a Hi/Low forklift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus

• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Required)
• Hi-Lo Forklift: 2 years (Required)
• ERP systems: 2 years (Preferred)
• SAP CRM: 2 years (Preferred)
• Cherry picker: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Forklift Certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Avon, CT (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Avon, CT: Relocate before starting work (Required)
