Overview:
We are looking for an Order Management Manager to join our team! This critical role, within our Operations department, will be responsible for ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, from order receipt to shipment. The Order Management Manager will work closely with various departments, including logistics, inventory, and customer service, to deliver a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Work with the Order Management Supervisor to ensure all incoming orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner, meeting established service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor order queues and allocate resources appropriately to prioritize urgent orders with Sales and Production and resolve any issues that may arise.
Line Cancellations: Oversee line cancellations across orders based on existing inventory levels and coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics and Production as needed to minimize revenue loss.
Chargebacks: Analyze chargebacks related to noncompliant shipments with customers, working with Operations to provide feedback, minimize errors, and contest chargebacks where applicable.
Processes: Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline order fulfillment workflows and improve efficiency across multiple third party logistics (3PL) providers.
Invoicing: Ensure that POs are fulfilled properly to reflect correct invoicing and inventory levels.
Analyses: Review and analyze order data and metrics to create dashboards and identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize Order Management processes.
Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to Order Management and logistics, and proactively implement changes as needed to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.
Bonus if knowledgeable in NetSuite.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field a plus.
Proven experience in Order Management, preferably in a fast paced and customer-centric environment.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Proficiency in Order Management system software, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
