The Order, Inventory, & Quality Manager will perform inventory tracking, sales order tracking, and will provide general office support for the plant. In addition to supervising the quality team, the manager will oversee all quality processes and procedures including all quality-related documentation.
Key responsibilities:
- The manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.
- The manager is the storekeeper for all ingredients and raw materials used in production. Records, tracks, and processes all materials going in/out of production accurately. Conducts weekly and monthly inventory counts. Documents discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts. Follows FEFO best practices with all ingredients and raw materials. Ensures ingredients and raw materials are staged in designated areas according to production needs.
- Provides clerical support by answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents. In addition, performs or facilitates maintenance of office equipment including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Essential qualifications:
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with the ERP System.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or field related to the products being developed preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Physical requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Frequently bending and lifting required (50 pounds).
· Must be able to navigate the plant and the warehouse spaces and reach items both high and low.
