Job Summary
The expected pay rate is $77,900.00-$85,000.00/year. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Ensure the station risk register is completed, maintained, and followed.
- Ensures safety and quality audits are conducted, reviewed and closed.
- Assists in the development of audit plans for the station.
- Conducts and/ assists accident/incident investigations, as required.
- Conducts safety and quality audits and QHSE training within the station, as directed.
- Coordinates safety and quality initiatives.
- Reviews station employee injury trends and directs corrective action.
- Reviews aircraft damage and directs corrective action.
- Conducts risk assessments as directed. Ensures Risk Assessments are completed.
- Coordinates safety promotion and quality initiatives.
- Reviews and coordinates the Quality Management System completeness and ensures the system is kept current.
- Provides station leadership with periodic progress reports, audit schedules and assessments of safety and quality programs.
- Completes projects/assignments as directed by station QHSE Manager.
- Provide reports (as required) to HOA/Region/Station regarding trends, performance, gaps, etc. or other reports as directed.
- Hold periodic safety meetings with management and employees at the station.
- Posting all safety information from local, corporate and customer communications
- Maintain the safety board(s) with new information
- Participate in daily briefings
- Complete at least two (2) audits per shift
- Peer to peer coaching
- Moderate monthly safety meetings
- Conduct audits in accordance with the Swissport NAA audit program and carrier programs
- Assist in the preparation and publishing regular safety and operational briefings
- Assist in the analysis and evaluation of audit findings, comprehensive fixes and trends
- Communicate daily with Duty Managers in order to coordinate tasks for the day and communicate safety findings/concerns
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Must be able to work in teams with minimal supervision
- Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
