Oracle Technical Architect - Incentive

Our client is seeking a contractor to join their team in providing consultation to clients specific to Oracle Incentive Compensation as a Technical Architect. This role will start PT for a few weeks in January and then transition to 40 hours a week for another 35+ weeks. Please be advised the role may have some travel but is overall remote.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for working to deploy Oracle platforms and programs including, but not limited to Oracle Incentive Compensation. This role includes significant client engagement and leadership to complete projects and execute Oracle solutions. Responsibility also includes working closely with off-shore / outsourced resources for applications development, support and optimization. 

 Functions:

·         Develop and implement Oracle applications and ensure delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions throughout various projects.

·         Facilitate meetings and discovery workshops with clients’ technical and functional teams to gather needs, wants, requirements, objectives, to brainstorm alternative solutions with project managers, and to help with decision making.

·         Translate and map clients’ business objectives and functional requirements into technical solutions.

·         Provide Development, Testing, Technical Implementation, Data Analysis, Data Loading, Documentation, and Upgrading as it relates to Oracle Engagement Cloud Applications.

·         Implement new enhancements including creation and customization of standard/custom objects, process automations, workflows, and reports.

·         Ensure IT systems and applications meet the requirements of the businesses and their processes.

You Demonstrate:

·         Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

• Prior experience in requirements gathering, reporting tools and creating end user manuals.
• Can architect solutions beyond just having the experience. You can figure out the pieces, who can be creative with the solutions, with drive and ambition.
• Willingness to get hands on with the product.

·         Thorough understanding of Oracle principles and planning.

·         Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.

·         Flexible to changing needs.

·         Organized with attention to detail, have strong follow up and ability to work independently and with a team. 

·        Outstanding professional communication skills, succinct, with analytical and logical thinking/problem solving. 

• Willing to obtain certifications by studying for and taking certification exams.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

 Preferred Experience: 

• Oracle Incentive Compensation application experience (Fusion Incentive Cloud preferred).
• Experience with Variable Compensation business processes.
• Client facing past experience with key stakeholders 
• Experience implementing, managing, and utilizing Oracle CX / CRM, Financials, and other Applications.
• Conducting workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, supporting QA testing efforts, business process reviews and production support.
• Gather and assess requirements and assist with translation into optimal solutions.
• Perform functionality gap analysis and solution design.
• Develop functional specifications for extensions, integrations, and data migrations.
• Configure application modules.
• Demonstrate application functionality.
• Develop test plans/scripts and manage system testing.
• Assess production readiness.
• You are also able to assist in training others and helping to oversee workflow of a project staff. 

Required Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.
