The Oracle Developer III will be a "hands on" development position focused primarily on supporting merchandising systems by providing design, solutions for merchandising systems. Will be responsible to handle changes according to business need for Oracle RMS, RPM, REIM, RTM, RESA.
Responsibilities- Responsible for guiding architectural design as a prime subject matter expert in the area of Oracle Development
- Must have good knowledge of Oracle database.
- Responsible for analyzing business data requirements to produce relevant architectural deliverables
- Responsible for writing stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, batch scripts
- Responsible for analyzing and preparing recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in Oracle systems
- Responsible for developing, configuring, maintaining, and administering batch Process.
- Runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing integration related systems for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
- Serves as a liaison with IT App Owners, Infrastructure, Development, and Support teams
- Assists in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
- Analyzes business and technical requirements of systems and translates them into IT solutions to meet evolving business needs
- Consults with internal and external application customers and users regarding the business and technical requirements
- Creates and drives the solution design used to understand the business need, documents the product fit by identifying gaps and recommends the functional and technical implementation approach.
- Work with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand complex systems in order to produce integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Provides technical oversight of implementation projects to ensure alignment with applications architecture
- Advises application customers on the different functional and technical options available to resolve business issues/requirements

- 8+ years' Strong Oracle Retail experience preferred.
- Expertise in solution design, systems integration, implementing enterprise software solutions ideally within a Retail, Merchandising, Retail Trade Management and Supply Chain environment
- Significant domain or package expertise and demonstrated ability to drive business value
- Demonstrated experience providing solutions that span multiple operating environments
- Ability to communicate functional and non-functional requirements
- Ability to research and evaluate vendor solutions
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
