Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and scalability.
- Utilize Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and resolve database performance issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal system efficiency.
- Implement and maintain Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) principles to achieve near-zero downtime.
- Optimize Exadata configurations for performance gains, leveraging the platform's features to enhance database operations.
- Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure database solutions meet business requirements and performance goals.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, configuration, and optimization strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest Oracle technologies and best practices, implementing improvements to maintain a cutting-edge database environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Engineer, with a strong focus on high performance and availability in complex database environments.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication.
- Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and address database performance issues.
- Solid understanding of Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) principles and their practical application.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata and its optimization for performance gains.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrated resilience and adaptability, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
