Job Description
Responsibilities:
*Manage and maintain OCI users and resources, overseeing compute, storage, and networking components.
*Monitor OCI performance, availability, and security, addressing potential issues proactively.
*Implement and enforce governance policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
*Configure and manage OCI Compartments and Provisioning services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DBaaS) across Availability and Fault Domains.
*Control access and permissions through OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM).
*Implement security best practices, including data encryption, network security, and regular security audits.
*Integrate OCI with other systems to streamline workflows and enhance system functionality.
*Develop KPIs, Metrics Reports, and Dashboards for comprehensive system tracking.
*Collaborate with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
*View and monitor service details and notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
*Configure and manage OCI/OIC logging and auditing mechanisms for comprehensive system tracking.
*Participate in the development and implementation of new OCI features to improve system performance and functionality.
*Function as the primary point of contact and collaborate with Oracle support to address and resolve OCI/OIC-related technical issues.
*Partner with Security, Network, Development, and Product Teams to identify and drive issue resolution.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date OCI documentation and architecture diagrams.
*Design and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
*10-15 years of experience working as a Mid-senior-level Oracle Cloud Administrator.
*Ability to travel occasionally.
Please note that this position is not eligible for Corp-to-Corp (C2C), visa sponsorship, or transfer (H1b).
Compensation: Starts at $110,000/DOE plus benefits.
Note: This is a remote, full-time, permanent position.
Note: Some travel will be necessary, initial training for the first 2-3 weeks and then as customer needs require.
