Title: Oracle BI Technical Architect [XTGL_35599]

Location: Austin, TX (Remote Job)

Type: 12+ Months Contract / Permanent

Overview:

• We are looking for a Manager, Business Intelligence & Technical Architecture to partner with our organization to further develop and maintain important BI reports in an Oracle Fusion environment.
• We have an exciting opportunity to help the business better mature its use of our Oracle ERP system to create efficient access to further our business intelligence and advance decision making.
• This role will provide an opportunity to learn and partner with an exciting and growing business and will involve both hands-on project execution and project management when appropriate.
• This position is a hybrid role requiring occasional presence in our Santa Ana office and superb ability to develop and grow business relationships and build personal credibility in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

• Broad IT expertise in Implementation, design, development, delivery, and support for Fusion Cloud Applications
• Technical subject matter expertise within the ERP Data Domain including GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, Cash Management, Supply Chain Management and Projects applications
• Proven ability to provide robust technical solutions based on functional specifications
• Ability to learn / understand the business to assist users to define and refine functional specification needs to support business objectives
• Collaborate with technical and functional resources through the project life cycle, for Reports, Integration, Conversions, Extensions (RICE) objects design, documentation and unit test support
• Provide accurate and timely communication/status reports to Tech Lead and/or Project Manager
• Have ability to both manage and participate in projects to direct activities to meet objectives on-time and in a cost effective manner
• Experienced in onsite/offshore project team models
• Proven ability to integrate Cloud ERP with third party providers such as banks, exchange rate platforms and external applications such as Sales force, Conga etc.
• Solid understanding of performance tuning best practices and experience improving end-to-end processing times
• Stay up to date with latest feature set of Oracle Quarterly Patches/Major Releases
• Recommend and implement best practices around design and build of conversions, integrations and reports
• Raise issues and work resolutions including working with Oracle support, as they come up to ensure adherence to the project schedule

Experience:

• Has eight (8) plus years of Hands-on Experience with Oracle ERP/EBS, with over three (3) years Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud
• Has been on a minimum of two full cycle cloud deployments
• Has hands on experience in design, development, deployment in at least two of the following areas in ERP Cloud
• Data conversion of master data and transaction data using FBDI templates & ADFDi
• Reports using BI Publisher, Template development
• Integrations (OIC/MuleSoft/Dell Boomi/SOA/ SOAP & REST web services)
• Excellent SQL writing skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• BI Publisher (RTF, Excel template design/ eText/ Parameter Handling/ Bursting/ backup and migration of reports to different pods), OTBI / Analysis Dashboard
• Sound knowledge of roles, data security, custom role development and cloud system administration services
• Extending Cloud through the native personalization layer
• AP Check printing, Positive pay templates, PO Printing, AP Printing, automated AR Invoice, Lockbox Processing / Bank Statement integration
• Work with Fusion Analytics warehouse, ATP data bases
• Creating and scheduling Oracle Cloud ESS Jobs and BIP Jobs
