Optometry Technician

South Hills Eye Associates is looking for a highly motivated, personable and knowledgeable Optometry Technician. We provide patients with the absolute best in quality eye care, and as a part of our team, you perform crucial tests necessary for patients to proceed to an exam with our optometrist. You may also assist the optometrist during the exams, which requires you to use a variety of optical equipment.
You greet each patient with a friendly and professional demeanor and convey the confidence, knowledge, and attention to detail that our patients have come to trust. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in an optometry practice. You also need knowledge of health insurance billing processes and electronic health records handling procedures according to HIPAA guidelines.
This is a full time position and is located mainly in the Mt. Lebanon Office. The working hours are: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. This position may require travel to both the Canonsburg and Mt. Lebanon Offices as hours and locations may vary depending upon practice needs.
