SalaryWe are seeking an awesome Optometric staff member to join our team! We are an Independent and busy multi-doctor optometry practice in Edmond, OK. We offer state of the art technology for our patient care, and a personalized experience for everyone who calls or enters our practice. Our ideal candidate will have experience working as a staff member in a medical environment. Experience working specifically in an Optometry medical environment is a plus! If you have great customer service, good communication skills, dependable, friendly attitude and a passion to learn, we want to meet you!
Ideal office hours (Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm) NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and greeting all patients in a warm and friendly manner
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Checking patients in for their scheduled appointment
- Verifying patients insurance benefits
- Patient check out and posting payments
- Filing insurance
- Frame styling and ordering patient glasses
- Ordering contact lenses
- Pre-testing patients prior to their eye examination
- Assisting the Doctor with contact lenses
- Surgical coordinator for our laser vision correction patients
Qualifications:
- Experience with Eyefinity EHR / Officemate Software is a plus
- Experience in a medical environment (Optometry medical experience is a plus!)
- Good communication skills

- Computer/internet savvy

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
