Job Description:
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking to enter the medical field, specifically in eye health. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in pre-testing patients and utilizing advanced eye care equipment. This position offers a unique blend of technical skills and patient interaction, ideal for those passionate about healthcare and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-examination tests using various eye care equipment, including but not limited to:
Auto-Refractor
OCT/Fundus Camera
Tonometry
Corneal Topography
Visual Field
Interact with patients, providing a comfortable and informative experience.
Maintain and manage the equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
Assist in administrative tasks and patient scheduling as needed.
Work collaboratively with the eye care team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Requirements:
No prior experience in the medical field is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A genuine interest in learning about eye health and patient care.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
