Front Desk Concierge-Are you the people person we are looking for? Optometric practice with great atmosphere and awesome team seeking a customer service professional to handle office communication, answering calls & texts. Must be pleasant, professional, dependable and punctual. High level computer and communication skills are a must! The concierge will greet and check in & out all patients, take payments, file insurance claims, schedule and confirm appointments, learn all aspects of our optometry practice. We are a team oriented practice and very selective in our hiring process. We provide salary commensurate with experience.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Greeting all guests to our practice
- Answering the phone and responding to texts
- Scheduling and reconfirming appointments and maintaining a full appointment schedule
- Keeping the Optometrist(s) on schedule and maintaining efficient patient flow
- Appointment confirmation and recall reminders
- Verifying medical and vision plans and making sure claims are filed
- Reports to management/leadership on the status of appointment schedule
- Reports to management/leadership any patient challenges or complaints, likewise maintains and documents all patient testimonials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
