Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Optician to assist our clients in selecting eyewear that best suits their needs and preferences. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of lenses, frames, and prescription requirements. Responsibilities include:

· Interacting with customers to determine their eyewear needs and preferences.

· Assisting customers in selecting frames that complement their facial features, lifestyle, and prescription requirements.

· Conducting accurate measurements for eyeglasses and ensuring proper fitting.

· Educating customers on lens options, coatings, and care instructions.

· Processing orders and maintaining accurate records of customer prescriptions.

· Collaborating with our team to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements:

· NYS Licensed Optician

· Previous experience as an Optician or in a related role preferred.

· Proficiency in conducting precise measurements and fittings.

· Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, and prescription requirements.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
