Salary**Optical Manager**
**Duties:**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the optical department at both location. Denver and Parker location. Must travel between locations.
- Manage and supervise a team of optical staff, including opticians and technicians
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical products
- Maintain inventory of optical supplies and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists to ensure proper patient care and satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and advancements in optical technology
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
**Skills:**
- Strong background in laboratory work, ophthalmology, or retail management
- Proficient in using computer systems for order processing and inventory management
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices
- Familiarity with pediatric eye care and understanding of child physiology
- Experience managing medical records and maintaining patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets in a retail setting
