Optician Duties:
- As patients are brought to optical throughout the day, greet every patient with a cheerful approach.
- Help keep the optical area organized and all spots on the display boards filled. Keep all understock trays labeled by brand.
- Make sure all trays are labeled with patient name and date. Assist getting all orders out within 24- 48 hours. Keep detailed notes when answering phone calls, document in and in the tray.
- Review Your Daily Report for Accuracy.
Inventory/Large Orders
A. All Shipments received must be crossed referenced with the invoice for accuracy.
B. Help keep all consignment frames together and be prepared to assist with faxing a monthly report of what is on hand to Altair.
C. All inventory is to be input in computer system
D. All under-stock needs to be priced, inventoried and kept organized. Be knowledgeable about options available and in under-stock.
Vision Insurances/Accounts Receivable
Assist with filing of insurance claims. Help ensure that all claims are filed within 48 hours of Date of Service.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
