MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The completion of one (1) year of enrollment in an SAF (Society of American Foresters) accredited curriculum program from an accredited college or university.
Requires a valid driver license

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional to moderate travel required.
Position may respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other type incidents requiring travel, as needed.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Timber inventory work using a variety of cruising techniques, timber sale layout and stream buffer delineation, harvesting inspections, GIS/GPS work.
  • Invasive species management.
  • Recreation management.
  • Prescribed fire assistance and training as available.
  • Educational outreach events and programs.
