Ophthalmic Technician

Ophthalmic Technician (Bozeman MT)

An ophthalmic assistant/technician will be required to perform the following tasks, including but not limited to:
Taking patient medical histories and completing electronic medical records
Instructing patients about medications, diagnostics and procedures
Performing vision and pressure testing
Performing diagnostic imaging (including OCT, Optomap and Angiograms)
Assisting with patient procedures
Maintaining and stocking all exam rooms
Prepping tools for procedures
Verifying/sending patient prescriptions
Answering phones and scheduling patients at front desk on non-patient days

This job is fast-paced, requiring comfortability working and communicating with patients. Experience is desired but our office is willing to train the right applicant. Health insurance offered after 60 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
