We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our practice, where the ideal candidate will share our commitment to patient-centric care and thrive in our calm and supportive atmosphere. This role encompasses daily patient care and related technical duties, demanding a strong understanding of ophthalmic practice and patient care, along with proficiency in medical instrumentation. Effective communication with patients, coworkers, and supervisors is essential, as is a willingness to assist in all areas and optimize time management for efficiency.
Moreover, this position entails conducting various tests, including but not limited to pupil testing, basic anterior segment slit lamp exams, ocular tonometry, topography, accommodation, keratometry, refraction, lensometry, pachymetry, visual fields, OCT, and ocular photos. Ocular biometry is a plus
Successful completion of JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Technician requirements required
One year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician in a clinical setting preferred
Willing to train you if you are willing to learn!

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
