Job Summary: The Ophthalmic Assistant plays a crucial role in our clinical team. As an integral part of our practice, you will assist the doctors in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include answering the phone, gathering patient information, and sometimes performing diagnostic testing to prepare the patient to see the Dr and ensuring smooth patient flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Chart Review: Ensure completeness and accuracy of patient information.
- In-Office Procedures: Assist with in-office procedures, ensuring proper informed consent and setup.
- Frame Selection: Assist patients in selecting frames and doing the appropriate measurements to enable you to order the glasses
- Contact Lens Training: Soft & Gas Permeable Contact Lens Trainings
- Dispense Glasses: Adjusting and properly fitting glasses once they have come in
- Room Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of exam rooms.
- Answering Phones/Scheduling Patients

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.65 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
