Sixt is looking for an Operations Trainer to oversee all West Coast Region in person and virtual instructor led training programs and manage all related training content. The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles and learning strategies
  • Exceptional public speaking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead all classroom led and virtual training programs.
  • Manage participants' performance and provide coaching/feedback as needed.
  • Manage all training materials and updates to align with operational needs.
  • Manage all training programs and execution of programs to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain and update existing and new curriculum materials and content to reflect changes in product, policy, procedures, etc.
  • Responsible for all training tracking, reporting and following up with team members (i.e. attendance, assignments and assessments, course completion, etc.).
  • Manage and maintain the internal LMS (Learning Management System).
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback from operations team.
  • Liaise with business partners, business owners and subject matter experts for content review and maintenance.
  • Conduct needs analysis with business partners to identify training solutions.
  • Develop instructional content for the implementation of training solutions.
  • Maintain appearance of the training center(s) to align with brand standards.
  • Maintain accurate project management details, records, and tracking.
  • Ensure all training content to ensure all materials align with the organization’s branding requirements.
  • Complete other job-related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6-8 years of management or training experience required
  • 2-4 years of virtual facilitation experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Advanced knowledge of the training and development process
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise 360 or Adobe Captivate preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the learner-centered approach to education, learning styles,  interactivity, feedback, testing, and evaluation preferred
  • Certification in education, training or related field preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Additional Information

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
