Operations Systems Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Operations Systems Specialist to join our Operations team. The Operations Systems Specialist will ensure that personnel are trained and updated regarding company system, that changes in positions are updated regarding company system, and the Specialist will also fill-in for personnel shortages due to vacations, leaves-of-absences, and open positions until filled.

Qualifications:

• Excellent IT skills and/or project management skills
• Good data entry skills - accuracy important
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
• Excellent work history with proven track record
• Professional, clean, neat appearance
• No conviction of felonies, serious crimes or have charges pending. However, a conviction is not an automatic disqualification of employment.
• Planned travel to receive training updates as well as to systematic start of operations at new accounts.
• Ability to work independently; take initiative and be a self-starter
• Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions and meet deadlines; attention to details
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to meet work processes deadlines
• Willingness to learn and accept responsibility
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• High-level knowledge of the various DCC field operations as well as Epes Terminal location variations
• Ability to travel with short notice and remain deployed for varying lengths of time

Responsibilities:

Company System Training Responsibilities:

• The Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for training personnel on the proper use of company system, implementation at new accounts or with new personnel and ongoing coaching or updating of the FM tool.

• Demonstrates support to the Epes Transport System, LLC Quality Management System, and its objectives, as applicable.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
