Going Beyond the Basics

While our core service revolves around waste management, our commitment goes beyond merely collecting and disposing of waste. We provide environmental waste disposal solutions, ensuring that non-hazardous waste materials are treated with care, adhering to strict environmental standards. Our tarped and sealed containers, equipped with heavy-duty roll-off vinyl canvas tarps, guarantee efficient, clean, and leak-proof disposal of both liquid and solid waste.

The Role:

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of our drivers ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transportation and normal day to day operations for Roll-Off Chick.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan transportation routes to maximize efficiency to meet client deadlines.
• Dispatch and review schedules with drivers.
• Work directly with clients providing proper information, paperwork, updates, etc. to ensure a smooth experience.
• Be comfortable talking over the phone with customers while multi-tasking within our systems to collect accurate data and information.
• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain dispatching software with route information.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to drivers.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure the proper upkeep of all vehicles and equipment.
• Assist in providing accounting with driver receipts for proper record keeping & billing.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and implement cost effective strategies.
• Representing Company at off-site events.
• Additional duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively interacting with employees, customers, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-solving mindset with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and technology tools for operational management, i.e. Microsoft Suite.
• Willingness to travel to various work sites and events as needed. 
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English (bi-lingual preferred)
• Must be able to work with PC
• Preferred if candidate has at least 2 years in the trucking or transportation industry, with a track record of successfully working in complex operations.
• In-depth knowledge of trucking operations, industry regulations and best practices.(preferred)
