Position Title: Operations Research Analyst Senior I - Key Personnel - (SECRET CLEARANCE)

Position Start: January 17, 2024 (Pending Contract Award)

Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full time Operations Research Analyst Senior I - Key Personnel - (SECRET CLEARANCE) position. The Operations Research Analyst Senior I - Key Personnel, will be supporting the government at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of cost analysis assignments in support of the program life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) and program office estimates (POE).
• Develop or evaluate cost assessments, cost positions relating to the systems development, demonstration and production approaches.
• Assess impact on systems and program costs, including analyses of prototype systems.
• Work with SMEs to develop independent Government cost estimates (IGCEs) that will stand up to Army and DoD level review.
• Serves as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements.
• Review, assist and mentor lower-grade employee’s work for quality, accuracy of work. 
• Coordinate work efforts with Contract Officer Representative. 
• Serves as a expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements.

• Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree, Economics, mathematics, Operations Research, data analytics or related

  Additional (preferred): Industry level cost estimating certification (e.g. ICEAA CCEA)

  Experience:    A minimum of twelve (12) years preparing and updating cost estimates using ACEIT. Strong analytical abilities required. MS proficiency with Excel required. This minimum experience must be with DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM) or Product Manager (O5 PdM) to be considered applicable to this requirement.

• Clearance:    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
