JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Project Coordinator is responsible for leading teams to deliver multi-state and multi-site Proactive MD Health Centers. Manage resources, schedules, monitor financials and report progress to Proactive MD leadership in a timely manner. This responsibility also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
The Operations Project Coordinator has the authority to run the project within the predetermined scope on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost, to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead project/portfolio management efforts for Proactive MD
- Coordinate resources for the implementation of new Proactive MD Health Centers in all regions.
- Work with Operations Team members/leadership to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders (clients, implementation team, service delivery, etc.) regarding risks, solutions, on-track project status.
- Develop, maintain, train, and audit the use of project management standards for Proactive MD, including processes, documentation, and technologies used to support project management.
- Coordinate strategic, operational, and organizational projects using practices which may include:
- Creation and management of project documentation
- Selecting, overseeing, and/or coordinating vendors and contractors
- Procuring supplies, equipment, and other materials
- Assigning project tasks to project team members
- Process engineering and improvement
- Managing project budget and regularly reporting expenses to Proactive MD Finance Team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- 3+ years coordinating strategic projects with budgets exceeding $250k.
- 3+ years working within the healthcare field, with specific work experience in clinical operations preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Highly proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and other project management software (Zoho Project)
- Bachelor's degree or higher required.
This role will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours/week as directed. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role is considered an exempt position. Evening and weekend work are infrequent but may occasionally be required as business needs dictate. This role will be non-supervisory.
TRAVEL
Infrequent travel may be required and should be expected to be less than 25% of the position's overall responsibilities.
