Reporting to the Senior Director, Development, the Operations Program Manager functions as the key liaison to regional entities and provides guidance and support for all business function processes for all sites. The Operations Program Manager will support the development and implementation of the National Philanthropy Model or other strategic initiatives within Philanthropy Operations as assigned.

This position serves as a connector to business unit leaders, trouble-shoots and coordinates resolutions and process improvements for all business operations and centralized core services at each entity, as assigned.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Will liaise with core revenue program leaders or assigned gift officer for prospect referrals, providing support, coordination of producing marketing and communication collateral and implementation/socialization and distribution of printed materials.
  • Will be able to move work and issues through to resolution within current processes and policy; and when necessary, a discerning eye to surface roadblocks or improvements to benefit overall process or policy.
  • Strategic Program Management:
    • Manage the operational performance of the National Philanthropy Model or other assigned programs or initiatives by the Senior Director of Business Operations. This position will:
    • Develop and monitor key performance metrics
    • Develop and implement plans to achieve specified targets
    • Coordinate and manage operational activities for the program
    • Routinely report on performance to Philanthropy Operations
    • Develop and maintain the budget, timeline, and implementation plan
  • Strategic Project Management:
    • Partner with the Senior Director Development to identify and prioritize strategic projects to be undertaken each quarter. This position will:
    • Directly lead the management of strategic initiatives from inception to implementation
    • Serve as a liaison between Philanthropy core business functions, System business functions and entity CAP sites to ensure objectives are achieved
    • Create and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Manage daily tasks associated with implementation of initiatives
    • Establish routine reporting and templates to be used to support the National Philanthropy Model.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public health, or business administration.
  • 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
  • Two years of experience working in nonprofit operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Project management.
  • Excellent human related skills.
