Description: This position is responsible to have in-depth knowledge of all programs within the organization including prevention programming (residential, nonresidential, and counseling), case management, and Medicaid. Input a variety of data into information systems from drafts and documents, consolidating and matching information for input. Proof/validate information entered and assist in resolving problems or locating missing/additional information. This individual must demonstrate the ability to validate and analyze data, complete data quality control, generate custom reporting and formulate key insights and applications. This position will also review reports for specific information and enter data as needed. Work in collaboration with the leadership team to identify opportunities for improvement and assist with the development of any reporting needed to meet accreditation requirements. This position will be responsible for creation, design and operation of the agency's Performance Measurement Program which seeks to improve agency operations by conducting analyses of existing processes and recommending data driven solutions.
Specific job responsibilities and goals include but are not limited to:
- Generating, collecting, processing, storing, managing, analyzing, visualizing, and interpreting data to provide concrete insights regarding the effectiveness and impact of the department programs performance/operations.
- Develops data visualizations and reports on key performance metrics for various components of agency operations. Communicates information to management, other staff, and program stakeholders by developing user-friendly presentations, performance metrics, and reports.
- Interprets analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to identify areas of improvement and coordinate with program management to design on-going improvement plans.
- Advises senior leadership on operational performance trends, challenges, and issues.
- Attend program and leadership meetings when requested to discuss data and performance.
- Develop ad-hoc reports and analyses.
- Assist in QI file auditing exercises in preparation for federal and state monitoring visits.
- Collaborate with quality, operating, and financial management teams to provide analysis.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of nonprofit experience in data analysis. Experience in Human Services or non-profit organizations preferred. Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay-terms. Must have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint expertise. Strong preference for experience with PowerBI.
Physical Requirements: Position requires employee to work with computers most of the day. Ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, stand and sit for extended periods of time.
