Operations Manager (Sheetmetal Industry) $100K/Year

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• · Manage the day-to-day operation of a two-shift production process.
• · Plan, schedule and coordinate jobs through all work centers and subcontract processes to meet customer demands and balance work loads.
• · Supervise shift foremen.
• · Supervise production personnel as required to support foremen.
• · Coordinate with Sales, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Purchasing and Administration.
• · Prepare for and attend weekly production meetings.
• · Solve production problems.
• · Contribute to Engineering, Estimating, Sales and Administrative problem solving and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications:

• · Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the sheet metal fabrication process
• · Experience in supervision
• · Experience in production management
• · Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• · Experience with ERP systems
• · Strong managerial, leadership and motivational skills
• · Great people skills, including the ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels, inside and outside of the organization
• · Excellent communication and organizational skills
• · Excellent blueprint reading skills, engineering background a plus

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $100K based on experience
