Current Need: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Central Fill Operational Team.
Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for the operational activities and all functions of an Automated Refill Center including, but not limited to analyzing / preparing budgets, inventory control, operational efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, transportation, and facilities management. Reviews and analyzes reports, records, directives, and confers with leadership team to obtain data required for new initiatives, planning activities, work in status progress, and potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Metrics - Track people, performance and quality. Metrics to be measured would be derived from the Central Fill Scorecards, including, but not be limited to, Cost per Script, Scripts per Hour, Expense per Script, Production by Area, Safety Performance Index, Employee Opinion etc.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and extensive time demands. Effectively navigates through complex situations, both internal and external, that may require multiple decision makers.
• Manages the production and ensures safety, security and accuracy of people and product dispensed for patient use
• Ability to develop, drive, implement and maintain innovation and promote continuous improvement around engineering processes, customer support, cost structure and quality initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including priority setting, planning and resource management to exceed pharmaceutical distribution objectives.
• Ensure high quality employee attraction, engagement, and development at all levels, building bench strength through modeling of ICARE/ILEAD and development of a high-performing culture.
• Supports and executes performance reviews for Leadership team, initiates development plans, objectives, and actively coaching areas of opportunity.
• Create, review, and distribute various contractual reporting analytics to customer on revolving basis.
• Maintains appropriate communications with all levels of the organization and ensures that distribution center employees are aware of company's strategy and direction
• Manages vendor relations, accounts payable, purchase order, and invoice processes
• Develop and implement comprehensive training program including mandatory McKesson annual training, pharmacy / distribution SOP's, and any required compliance training for the pharmacy system
• Assemble quarterly reimbursement reports for various supplies and consumables
• Drive continuous improvement activities to improve processes, optimize space utilization, improve productivity, and realize cost savings.
• Actively analyze on-going expenses within the DC to ensure that budgets are met and take corrective action where variances occur
• Helps Manages pharmacy installs and troubleshoots proprietary system problems working with a variety of personnel and vendors
• Perform labor modeling and staffing exercises to forecast and support volume shifts

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience
• 0 - 2 years of supervisory and/or management experience

Critical Skills:

• 5+ years experience working within distribution and/or pharmacy operations
• 2+ years inspiring a team, leveraging strengths, executing a strategy, advancing a business, and developing self / others
• Strong experience managing a team to measured performance metrics
• Experience working and/or managing within compliance and regulation
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate professionally and tactfully with all levels of management and customer levels, across all functional areas.
• Advanced MS Office and strong general computer proficiency required
• Must be open to flexible hours to support McKesson, the team, and our customer; must also be open to adjusting shift and overtime as needed based on business requirements.
• Advanced experience overseeing budgetary responsibility including monitoring and analyzing costs

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• SAP experience preferred
• Expert level understanding of Pharmacy Operations, and relevant Multi State Retail Pharmacy Laws

Education
4-year degree or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements

• Time spent both standing and walking within a warehouse environment
• Time spent sitting at a desk

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$70,400 - $117,300
