Summary:
Under the direction of the Administrative Director, the Operations Manager has the responsibility for the daily on-site operations of his/her assigned location(s).
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
No weekends, evenings or holidays!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of site which includes medical oncology, radiation oncology, imaging services
- Works collaboratively with other Operations Managers to ensure standardization of processes and coordination of efforts.
- Ensures regulatory compliance of facility;
- Manage vendors supporting the facility with services, equipment and supplies;
- Proactively collaborates with other service lines to ensure patient centered care and clinical/operational integration;
- Works with Human Resources and operations team to maintain staffing levels;
- Oversees on-site new hire orientation and continuing education and training
- Ensure collaboration and communication between the clinical and administrative staff;
- In collaboration with clinical team leads ensure that clinical support resources are coordinated effectively;
- Adheres to annual budget. Provides input into budget setting process.
- Manages annual performance reviews and employee development;
- Conducts staff meetings;
- Disseminates and educates the staff on DPN policies and procedures;
- Participates in ongoing performance improvement training and initiatives;
- Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values and holds staff accountable for the core values and safety rules;
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position supervises all medical office, administrative, clinical and technical staff within the locations assigned.
Required Education and/ or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required and/or 3–5 years operations management experience preferred.
General Skill Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with electronic medical record
- Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
Physical/ Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to assist patients, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. This position is normally required to carry 5-10 pounds a distance up to four (4) feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
