Iron Mountain's Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business is responsible for the deployment, management, and ultimate decommissioning and disposition of technology assets. These include hard drives, servers, laptops, tablets, and network devices that contain customer or organizational data that needs utmost safeguarding when they reach their end of useful life.
In the process, ALM takes IT assets to sanitize, clean, and remove the data and recycle or repurpose in a sustainable and environmentally sound way.
The Operations Manager position is responsible for activities within operations including but not limited to production, hiring, personnel development, facility management and maintaining a safe work environment.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Front Royal, VA (On site position)
- Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm(Possible overtime)
- Full benefits starting on Day 1
- Training at our Sterling, VA location
You will:
- Provide leadership for Leads and Senior Warehouse Technicians
- Senior master level across all functional areas in organization
- Provide training and job mentorship to Operations Managers, Leads and Senior Warehouse Technicians
- Drive root cause analysis and closed-loop corrective actions to resolve in-process and customer issues
- Oversee production to include adherence to client service level agreements, processes, and internal performance metrics
- Perform administrative duties to include payroll, audits, HR support, facility, training, compliance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure data security and customer brand protection at all times
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Management
Ideally you will have:
- Strong English reading, writing and communication skills
- Ability to work across all levels of Management
- Comfortable with Client Communications
- Project Management and Time Management skill set
- Ability to prioritize and schedule based on workload and SLAs
- Understanding of HR functions and requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, operations, or related field
- Minimum of four years' experience managing front line supervisors
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically MS Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge of internet and data entry
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer related equipment
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform manual tasks which are repetitive in nature
- Manual dexterity required for operating tools and equipment
