Operations Manager (Financial Services)

We are looking for an Operations Manager with investment firm experience who is driven to creatively develop and build scalable processes to help complete our team of 7 in serving our clients.

As an Operations Manager, you will work closely with our financial advisors and support staff to provide excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• You will also be involved in various administrative and operational tasks
• Such as expediting new business and tracking money in motion from beginning to end
• Creating and managing team workflows
• Dealing with operations-related client issues
• Knowing when to escalate, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing compliance and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree with a concentration in business or related field
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry with an emphasis on life insurance and financial planning
• State Life and Health Insurance licenses, Series 6, 7, 66, 9, or 10 are preferred. Well-qualified candidates may be allowed to obtain them within 3 Months.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Creative Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as general technology skills and interest in becoming an expert in specific Customer Relationship and Marketing Software packages such as Redtail, Orion, Asset Map, and others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress, and make decisions with an eye for detail and quality.
• Enjoy social interaction with others in decision-making and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a team player attitude.
• Have a growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn new skills and pursue industry designations such as Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and related designations

• This salaried position has a base salary that ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 or beyond depending on experience, licenses, and designations and does not include various bonus opportunities
