Operations Manager

Responsibilities of the position include:

1. Visits jobsites regularly to discuss progress with foreman and report needs and requirements to Sr. Operations Manager.
2. Responsible for supporting, promoting, and enforcing all field training programs.
3. Ensure that material and equipment are delivered to jobsites.  
4. Participate in determining labor costs to be used for bids.
5. Participate in the goal-setting process.
6. Monitor and control quality of workmanship in the field.
7. Provide input to General Contractor’s production schedule as it relates to E&K’s scopes of work.
8. Lead pre-job coordination meetings in the field and sequence of other trades’ scopes of work.
9. Assist and develop field safety programs, to ensure the safety and protection of all employees.
10. Attend and participate in all required training programs.
11. Conform to all company policies and procedures.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the position include:

1. 8+ years of Construction Leadership experience, preferrably with Drywall / Metal Stud Framing.
2. Knowledge of general construction products and their installation.
3. Knowledge of the construction industry and accompanying trades.
4. Ability to read detailed (blueprint) plans and specifications.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other operating systems.
